Shanktel is a mixed-media high-relief sculptor and painter. She was born on May 30th, 2000 and is a Nigerian by birth. She uses texture paste, papier-mâché and acrylic paint as her mediums. Shanktel tells stories using symbolism about people, events and cultures she finds intriguing notwithstanding how blissful, mythical or horrifying the stories might be.
